Winter tire requirements are in place in many European countries. In Poland, they still aren't. Drivers are lining up at garages and tire shops to swap their summer tires for winter ones. It's no wonder. Forecasters are warning of low temperatures and snowfall. Furthermore, many websites provide false information about mandatory tire replacement and the penalties for ignoring the "new regulations."
Meanwhile, the statutory tire replacement requirement not only hasn't come into force, but hasn't even passed parliamentary legislation. The regulations still state that you can drive on any tires year-round, as long as they have at least 1.6 mm of tread.
We know from experience that drivers rarely wait for their tires to wear down to the legal minimum. We recommend replacing them when the tread depth reaches a minimum of 4 mm. Below this level, winter driving becomes truly dangerous.
We invite you to visit our company, we will offer you the best purchase offer, tire replacement and wheel balancing.
